I've been using Bikmo for the last ~5 years, but the prices keep getting more and more silly (and/or I keep buying more bikes), so I was wondering what others people recommend?
I like Bikmo as they don't seem to insure specific bikes, but separate into an at home total risk and a outside the house/on a ride arguably higher risk. So, I have ~12k cover for home and ~6k when outside, to cover the rrp of my emtb, if I get mugged by a scrote. This 2 "pools" of risk enabled me to buy a new bike and know it's insured outside the house from day 1, without needing to amend my policy. But, it's costing ~50% more than my car insurance
I've tried a couple online quotes and they seem to be more bike-centric, and need updating anytime I changed my bikes. So, do any others have this "pool" approach to risk?
I'm primarily interested in theft cover, but I guess liability is never a bad thing, in case of accidents.
