Any one into bike models ?

I picked up a model of my zx12 at the tail end of last year in Norwich.

It has taken me about three months so far 2 to 3 of hours a week or so, last time I made one was many moons ago a katana 750 but never did finish the front end I become bored like many other people :p I will try and finish this one before summer.

Painting takes the longest part but I am really enjoying it nice and relaxing if you take your time.

Fitted the radiator tonight rear wheel is next by the looks of the destructions :D

Looks great. I have only ever done model, a Ducati 916 which i did with my old man when i was a kid. I did enjoy it though.

I've been trying to get into it for AGES! But always get turned off by the amount of paint I would need. I would start with a 916 but paint 748 on it and make it look like my old bike :D

I've got about 4-5 Tamiya kits sitting in my Mum's loft from when I was living there 20+ year ago. RC30, NSR500 with Wayne Gardner 'cornering', NSR250 Sito Pons IIRC, FZR7540R 'OWO1' I can't remember the last one. I'm terrible as I start one and get bored. I even had a Kyosho RGV500 XR74 remote control in Pepsi livery with Kevin Schwantz.

One day I'll dig them out and finish them :o
