I know a few of you here are into your bikes, so I wondered if you'd be able to give me a rough idea of what this is worth.

Specialized Rockhopper, roughly 8 years old (not sure of exact year). V brakes, described as good condition.

Thanks in advance.

I'm guessing but at that age it'll probably have front suspension? RST forks or something better? What are the wheels? How about the drivetrain - all Shimano Deore or better? It's difficult to say without knowing anything much about it, however given the age of the bike I'd be disinclined to pay too much for it - I'd guess somewhere less than £150 but that's a pretty wild guess based on the price of a new and much better specified Rockhopper being somewhere around £600.

I have no idea, I'm a massive noob to all this but have read enough to work out some decent brand names and know generally what to look for. I don't have a clue as to the actual components used, but some googling around I've found this which seems about right.

Hard to know without knowing the exact year I guess :\

Just an advert, but it was their husband's bike and they can't tell me anything about it apart from it "looks in good condition" and is roughly 8 years old :p

I really need to go to see it, I know :o
