Bike Resto/Parts advice for Harley

So I am in the process of aquiring my other halfs dads Harley. It's a 2001 Harley Davidson Softail Deuce 2001 FXSTDI 1449cc

It hasn't been ridden for a while 8yrs+ so I would need to do some maintenance work on it but I will also look into customising/restoring the bike a little further down the line.

I was wondering if you guys could help with some useful links or even part manufacturers for a bike this age which would be a good starter for finding parts etc

My plan is to eventually go 2-five-0 conversion on the rear wheel and a 26" tire upfront on a raked headset.

p.s. I've been told to avoid Roland Design parts, apparently they are all looks and nothing else.

There might be one or two who have Harleys but most of us are British/Jap/Italian bike riders. You might be better off checking out some Harley owners forums tbh
