Bike servicing

Today I realised by bike is 800 miles overdue for it's 11k service Rather than pay someone £200 I thought I'd do it myself.

I think I'll be doing oil & filter, air filter, brake pads (front & back), brake fluid and maybe replacing the coolant.

Questions:
- Can anyone recommend any decent stands to use when working on a bike
- Where is good to get parts, M&P and Motorcycle Parts were 2 places I saw in the quick Google I did.

Any thoughts welcome!

Thanks for all that.

The bike is an SV650S K8 (see sig). I don't have any bobbins at the moment, I didn't know if some stands came with some sort of generic attachment which negated the need for them. If not I'll get some bobbins.

I'll have a hunt for bike shops around Chesterfield, not sure if I can buy service parts from CMC? If no we've got a Halfords.
