Went to work today on the bike, first time using the stand they have and I have to say it’s a bit poor, it’s this https://www.workplace-products.co.u...ks/cycle-racks/velopa-type-b-cycle-racks.html. The bit you put the front wheel in is quite high and also wide. I’ve got 32mm tires on and by the time I push the wheel in enough to get ok friction to support the bike the rim was pretty much touching, it’s also high on the wheel vs more mid point if that makes sense. Seems like they designed it for much large tyre widths. I’ll have a word Monday but seems a bit odd to me. There also the point that you can only lock the front wheel to something but work is pretty secure so not really worried about that just don’t want to damage rims - nowt fancy but that’s not the point it’s not an unreasonable expectation that the rack doesn’t damage your bike.
