Hi

I thought I would start a wee thread in here for Bike valeting. I know we have one in motors for cars, but I dont want this getting lost in a sea of 4 wheels.

So.... here is what I have been working on this week end.

Saturday a Bandit 1250
Today Triumph rocket 3 and a Harley. All want them prepped for locking away for the year so said I would do it, also consider doing it in my spare time for some cash

Harley was riden last winter and noit cleaned so the chrome looks terrible, I couldnt do anything to make it look good,

Few shots were used to see where I had missed the wax so looks greasy,

Also please excuse my very bad camera skills.

Very nice work.

I had to clean my bike this weekend as I was following a diversion route which took my down a muddy b road. I got board very quickly and frustrated that I didn't have all the right equipment to get into every nook and cranny. Would have happily paid someone to do it for a reasonable price..

I'm guessing you're a n00b because the only chrome on that V-Rod is on the fork stanchions. You're talking about lacquered alluminium that's been chipped by road crap and salt.

If it had been chrome then some Doctor Power would have had it like new in about five minutes.
