Hi folks,

I'm getting tired of moving the two bikes in the outbuilding - what are the best brackets to get these things out of the way?

I have 1 Specialized Hybrid and 1 Specialized Road Bike. The hybrid has a baby seat on the back if that is a consideration. Space isn't an issue, just don't want them (as you can see here) leaning up other stuff and needing to be shifted.

I have spotted a few hooks for cheap but they don't seem very stable?

Is there much free wall space out of picture for vertical storage?

I've got 5 Steadyrack classic and 1 Steadyrack Fender in my garage but there are much cheaper solutions eg the PlanetX for a few quid.

Yeah I have plenty of space out of picture/most of that tat needs to be binned or put in the attic (I've been insulating it the last few weeks).

Steadyrack looks considerably better than the PlanetX system. I think that is what I was after. Thank you.

I ignored all the great advice and ended up with 2 very dodgy brackets from eBay (£9.99 total, delivered).

I'll post back here when it falls off of the wall and I end up buying the right thing.

I would say that works just fine, makes maintenance handy too if you can secure them with some kind of clamp.
I think so. I don't think I'll trust the Hybrid on there though, as it seems to bend a touch under the weight of the road bike!

Do they accommodate chunky tyres/rims?

I was looking for something like this. But these look ridiculously bargain!

I've got MTB tyres in my standard Steadyracks - think they are 2.1" (I'm not going to the garage to check in the dark!)

There's also a fat tyre version which is good for 5"!
