Having another go at recording on the bike, the gopro hero 3 I had recorded at 1080/60fps, the 4k black edition I have only does 1080/50fps, what a joke.

It should do 60 fps at 1080 - this is what it did at launch unless firmware changes have crippled it since. Perhaps the FOV setting you have is not allowing you to select that option, or ProTune or something?

I think protune is off, I'll have a look, seems strange an option like that wouldn't let you do 60fps.

I had an "interesting" ride home today. The bike cut out as I pulled off from some lights, luckily I was near a bit of road I could stop safely on.

I've had an issue for a while where the bike won't start sometimes - I thought it was a ground issue (hadn't had time to check..) but I'm thinking it might be something to do with the ignition now.

Definitely will be investigating / fixing it before I take the bike back out.
