I’ll just leave this here :)

Very nice. I remember test riding one 7 years ago. Felt like an absolute animal coming from a 180cc measly 16.5 bhp.

But no low end though, had to wring it to keep in the power band and I can't ride like that all day. :)

Just done a 120 miles down from East Anglia to Bracknell is Berkshire.

I was doing about 95 on the A1 and a copper on a bike came up behind me, I backed off thinking uh oh.

Guy just pulled off at the next slip road no ***** given lol.

Probably too hot lol.

My arse cheeks are telling me today that I may want to invest in an upgraded seat.
I didn't find the 'comfort' seat on my 890R, much of an upgrade tbh - not sure if they're any better on other bikes in the range. Think it was 150 quid...

Could always modify yours by cutting out some foam and adding a gold gel insert - pretty easy job, and there's plenty of guides on YT on the process.

I'll add that you could also look at cool covers. Either the real one in the UK if you don't want China to win, or the china copy and get bum diseases if you do :p.

I use mine all year round on my 1290GT. The seat is thin and this adds a bit of 3d mesh thickness and has the benefit - for me on this specific bike - of being more slippy so I can slide left or right when being a silly billy.

I was at Castle Combe a couple days ago and although I don't think it cools me on this bike, it did make me look more of a idiot flinging myself off the right side all the time!

Oh yes, it also is far more comfortable for those 400 mile days.

Treated myself to a Cardo which is now fitted to my helmet and been on a bit of a ride to test it. Having speakers built into your helmet for some music/radio whilst riding is just complete and utter chefs kiss. I've bought a 10l Kriega dry bag for the back as well so I can carry water/sarnies/disc lock with me.

Just been out for an hour and sorely regretted it. Had to peel my gear off when I got back and my lips were all crinkly from dehydration

Yea I did the 120 mile return trip today.

Its ok of you keep going really fast.
Well I decided to go to my mates house and he wasn't there and I wasn't sure if he was in or not (turns out he wasn't) so I was slowly stewing on his drive for 10 mins.

That sounds like a frustrating ten minutes, especially when you’re not even sure whether they’re in. At least you found out before spending even longer waiting around.
