I hope that's a large heated garage for the motorbike, perhaps with a house attached to the side.Plans for a motorbike this year will likely be postponed, potentially cancelled. I might be buying something much bigger. And stationary. Yikes.
If only. It might have a drive, depending on what I can find.I hope that's a large heated garage for the motorbike, perhaps with a house attached to the side.
Bike is definitely going up for sale this year once it's got it's 12 month ticket in April.
Just can't justify having £4k sat in the garden to do 300 miles a year and kids are expensive.
Hopefully will be able to squeeze one last day out on it before the insurance runs out.
It's been a good run over the last 10 years and hopefully I'll pick something cheap up in a year or two just to get my fix.
ShhhhLol
I'll speak to you in a month when the sun is out![]()
Also due my second in June!Don't tell me that @Rimsy .
I'm due my second in June, just in time for the nicer weather.
Between a new born and a 6 year old not sure how I'll find some the time.
We got old bro. Also due my second in June!
Actually might consider selling mine in the summer, I just don't use it anymore and seems a shame to leave it wasting away in the garage, and the extra money will come in handy when the wife is on maternity....
And I still have two older bikes in the garage I can tinker on if I ever get time![]()
This is a good point though, Saturday looks like it'll be nice enough to unwrap it and stretch it's legs a little. This is not pleasing talk brothers and sisters!
As a counter, in a sudden, unexpected uptick in the weather forecast for this weekend, me my riding buddies are set for a reunion Sat. Brekkie then the usual shenanigans.
Let's go!
I may consider this and use it as an excuse to get more 'practice' on the new to me big bike. This is a good point though, Saturday looks like it'll be nice enough to unwrap it and stretch it's legs a little.
I had this exact discussion with myself this time last year, so I know what the answer is really (brap brap brap neowwwwwwww)![]()
Can you not get one of those Motorcycle Sheds to store it?Took it out today... Love it but I still think it needs to go. Living outside under a cover is not being kind to it and I think if it goes another winter it'll have really forked the paintwork/lacquer on the carbon and be worth sod all.
Unfortunately not, I looked at those and the bike tent type things last year but there's no way to make it work in our garden. Only other option is to get something set up out the front in which case it would probably just end up nicked anywayCan you not get one of those Motorcycle Sheds to store it?

This is probably what will happen, I need something to disappear into the garden and spanner on every now and again and have the option of getting a ride in.Honestly do yourself a favour and buy a beater. Something Jap, that runs and rides well. A grand or so, and you won't have to fret over it getting damaged. The ability to ride when you want without having to worry about it standing outside is extremely liberating.
