Pragmasis and Almax are the only ones I'd buy, pretty much all the rest can be colt cropped in under 30 seconds.
Remember thieves now are carrying battery powered grinders, an Oxford chain will last a few seconds against one of those. The Almax chains might only last a minute or 2 but that might be long enough to put them off.
£74 though I can't remember paying much more than that for the chain. Is this a typical cost for a high quality lock? If so I might have to bite the bullet

Mine been living outside for nearly 2 years, not even a spot of rust on the chain or the lock. Its heavy though, you can really feel the quality. If you smack someone with it, you could probably kill that person.
I wonder why someone hasn't come up with some fibre infused metal (kevlar?) to stop grinders? All it would need, surely is for something in the metal for the grinding disc to snag on and stop it?
Nah, they'd find a way to get through that and to the chain inside it. I mean actual fibres IN the metal. So when they start grinding it the disc catches on the fibres and snags, stopping the disc.
Have you ridden one? It was actually a really tough choice between the two and for me it was my head that swung it for the Tuono.
The MT10 is an excitable puppy that loves to jump up on its back legs (wheel) and bark whenever it can. It actually made me grin more that the Tuono on normal roads, but luckily I don't live somewhere that has a shortage of special roads.
I didn't get one as it is far too expensive for what it offers (head: value for money) and the neutered Euro4 has sapped power and fuel economy (head: tank range is worse on the MT10 than even the Tuono!!!) to unacceptable levels for me. For the price of a new MT10 (standard non-SP model) I purchased a 3 month old Tuono Factory (head: depreciation).
