I'm doing the bikesafe thing on Saturday. In exchange for £30 and for letting a nice police officer follow me for an hour I'm then allowed out on track for 15 mins.

I was just wondering if anyone knows what Castle Combe's policy on bike mounted cameras is. I've got a Contour Roam and I wouldn't mind filming my track time.

Im going to that too! not sure what to expect but for £30 cant complain, I will have to put my exhaust back to stock though! boo!

Enjoy the day. I found bikesafe to be really useful and the Police riders a good laugh. I wouldn't have thought your have any issues with cameras either?

Only an hour?
I done one a couple of years ago and it was a morning in the classroom, afternoon riding with 2 bikes to one police rider and a few hours riding the next day.

Good couple of days actually and very helpful.

Was awesome ! riding with the police rider was genuinely useful and the track session was amazing! only 12 people on the whole track, I only overtook three people but still was awesome fun!

I loved Combe in my DC2, bet it's a hoot on a bike with all the bumps. What kind of advice did the Police Officer give you?

I found the session with the police assessor a bit meh. Didn't get much from it, just common sense stuff really.

Track session was fun but the track is mega bumpy, had a headshake moment at over 100mph which scared me a bit.

I didnt find the bumps a problem, maybe its the way my suspension is set up?

The police officer didnt offer a huge amount of advise just pointed out a few things each of us were doing wrong, I did find it useful however following him because I've never really had a 'reference point' of correct riding form, kind of just made it up as I go along so I did learn something about road positioning.

i also haven't ridden that much since my accident in 2010 so it was good for my confidence levels.
