Billing Problem - Upgraded to early?

Basically, i upgraded my phone two months early and the plan i was on got reduced to £10 a month (Dolphin 25 Websave).

Now, i still have 2 months left of this contract but am now getting charged £20 (the actual cost of the original plan i beleive) because my loyalty has run out with them - the respones i got from Orange.

Is this how it works and is it a case of lesson learned?!
 
Unfortunately your right the loyalty reward you were receiving was only for the length of the orignal contract you negotiated with them at the time if you wanted it again you would have had to negotiate it at time of upgrade but your right least you know for next time
 
yep your contract was £20 then they will charge you £20.
Phones4u try to blag you with this one, my mate got caught out with them.
