I was looking at visiting Billingsgate fish market and saw that there's two cafes. Anyone have any idea which is best for a fresh fish meal at 6 in the morning!?

Can't say from personal experience, but SortedFood suggest Piggy's Cafe

That Hawksmoor visit....I was thinking of doing that some time but it's only during the week....don't think I can manage that, even between two, just before a day of work. I'd be in a food coma before I even start.

I visited Billingsgate Fish market this morning. It turns out that one of the cafes has shut. Piggy's is still there....but I think it's not Piggy's in the video above. They had wooden tables in the video but the one I visited had proper plastic Wimpy tables. I did have a pretty tasty smoked haddock and 2 poached eggs for £10....but they didn't seem to do a proper £4 bacon and scallops roll.
