I've got this hat for tf2 when I got l4d2 now for ages I didn't even know but then randoms started to add me in steam and have now started small talk all for me to gift them the hat.

Now is this thing valuable or something?

Bill's Hat is currently worth about 8 keys, a key costs £2, therefore its worth about £16

There are some crazy collectors in the game. Some items go for silly money. A stroke of genius by Valve - game was stagnating so they made it free to play and introduced the marketplace and now the game is still making money for them after all these years.
