bin locked out from using control panel

Hi my brother inlaw was using my pc last night he down loaded a cd burner and then he said started getting pop ups on screen.

and indeed there stuff running in the processes that was not before so i went try getting into control panel but i get this msg

its looks like some thing locked me out to stop me from sorting the problem

so any one know can i get full access to my pc again

i stoped the popups for now using msconfig .

any help would really great thanks

( using windows XP home SP2

PS: note to self don't let anyone download anything on my pc lol

thanks a lot dude that fixed my control panel problem

no all need to do is get rid of any spyware or what ever that crap running in the back round hehe

can't think of what program to use to get rid of processes i don't need

msconfig keeps them from being used but they are still on the system

thanks ill give that a try

found a few thing with that but not the startup exes that are some where on my pc

but with msconfig they don't start so i think ill be ok untill i reinstall xp later on
