Hi Why is binding weed so annoying and why did it end up in my garden in 2/3 different areas?
So hard to get rid of it i dont want to use weedkiller in this instance as it will harm my plants that it is trying to strangle
How do u all deal with binding weed?

Pull it out. If you regularly hand weed your garden you can get on top of it fairly quickly and like you say it avoids using harsh chemicals.

Can't find this anywhere else, but I bought one of these quite recently and it's certainly made general weeding easier. It's pretty sharp and the narrow width means you can get deep down to 'most of' roots very easily. While I have no bind weed here, we do have lots of weeds, so I put on a podcast I really want to listen to, get on my knees and get on with it. It can become quite satisfying... at least until I try to get up again. #OldManProblems

Unravel it. Put it into a bucket and spray it. Let the weed killer do its work. The bucket stops you spraying other stuff.

Alternative keep pulling it out. Or you can lure it up a bamboo cane or something and spray / dab it there.

Its a prolific spreading plant. Actually when allowed to grow it has lovely big flowers but it does take over quickly, the root system is massive so getting rid is not easy.

Gosh just reading about it online
Says its roots can go down 20/30 feet
Incredible but frustrating also

it just chokes the hell out of all of the plants
I will tease it with some bamboo sticks then pull it out easier
Too many jobs to do in the garden
Sometimes it is a curse rather than a blessing haha
