Bing desktop using 20% CPU after clock change

Anybody else having this issue?

How did you resolve it?

It is not a new problem, and I am clearly not the only one experiencing it.

This thread has been running since 2013 with no definitive resolution.

Back to the real world however, I quite like the new pictures every day thing.

(Some have been really interesting and have inspired me to do further web searches. There was a really beautiful one of the Australian outback a while ago which resulted in me spending some time on Googlearth. The place looked more like IO than the "Blue Planet" :eek: , But, I digress..)

It would be nice if BING desktop would work properly. MS has obviously known about this issue for some considerable time and it is annoying that they have not seen fit to fix it. :(
 
MS are crap at fixing issues like this.

It's annoying how good they are in some areas, then smother you with junkware.

Just remove it.
