Wondering if anyone is going to be giving this a shot.

First impressions is that aesthetically, it looks more pleasing to the eye than google although that is hardly a reason to praise a search engine is it.

Image search seems improved over google although not used it extensively yet.

Is it the engine which was used for Live Search albeit with a fancy front end?

Had a brief look, can't see any reason to use it over Google. Shopping search especially via "Ciao!" is very poor compared to Google product search, which is a major deal breaker for me.

Gave it a go. As I expected, the results aren't close to Google. It doesn't really seem any better than Live Search. Plus the page is cluttered and overcomplicated.

MS may make good software but they don't seem to get the web. Who wants a stupid background image on a page that needs to load quickly from anywhere?

Hmm, a search for 'Left 4 Dead 2' yields only hits for Left 4 Dead until page 5 where there is one mention of the sequel, you have to put it in quotes to get the results you want. So much for a "decision" engine. :D

I think it's ok... I still wouldn't switch from google but for the odd search or two then I would use it
