I'm not sure if I will get bias answers on this forum due to most people being PC fans but an honest opinion would be appreciated.

First of all my PC spec is as follows: -

1 x Intel Quad Core QX6700 CPU @ 2.6GHz
1 x GTX8800 Graphics Card
2GB PC6400 800MHz RAM

I am in a predicament as to whether to buy Bio-Shock for my PC or wait till I get my 360 repaired & get it on that.

Would I get better visuals & performance with the PC as I have heard it's DX10 compatible?

I went for 360 - no activation and guaranteed to run well.

But with that spec PC I'd probably want to test out a "next gen" game on it.

For your PC spec I'd say definitely go for the PC version. However, that's only if the twice activation thing doesn't bug you.

Personally I'm going for the 360 version as I really don't like the way they are going with the DRM on the PC version.

You can only activate the game on 2 different PCs? I might not buy game the game on either medium now they have done that coz that has ****ed me off.

Edit: just seen the thread above, seems I'm not the only one!

They are making a mountain out of a molehill, you can unistall it to get an activation back, its not twice only, id get the PC version with that spec, demo runs bloody amazing for me, and im only on a 320mb GTS, fully maxed out 1280x1024, never seen below 50 odd, mostly in the 70's, even seen it go into the hundreds, so should absolutely scream on the GTX. :)

Can you do that if your HD dies? or is there some other way to get an activation back?

Richie.
No one knows what to do if that happens.
It is assumed you can phone up 2K to get it back or something. But nothing confirmed on that yet.

This is good news, my new machine coming tomorrow (E6750 @ 2.66, 2GB, 8800GTS 640) should hopefully be very kind to it.

Sould be class.

Yeah, it's out friday right? That gives me one day to build it :D

I'm more looking forward to Crysis tbh, although that will probably be more demanding.

Xbox 360 for me :) I'm looking forward to playing it in the living room on my new HD TV.
Runs really well on my PC (max settings silky smooth 1280 x 1024) but I'm blown away by how good it looks on the 360....the difference is marginal. If I had a better monitor, then maybe I'd have gone with the PC version :D
