Hi,

That time has come again when I need to get into the BIOS of a machine and find the USB keyboard does not work and I do not have a PS2 one around.

Two questions.

  1. Does a PS2 to USB adaptor with a USB keyboard work ?
  2. Is there an option in the BIOS which will allow the USB keyboard to be initilised so it can be used to enter the BIOS. I am aware it may be different depending on BIOS but some idea of what it may be called would help if it exists ?
This really is a royal P.I.T.A.

Many thanks.

USB Legacy support should mean you can use a usb keyboard for the BIOS.

Edit: and i think a ps2>usb adapter will work fine
