BIOS acting wierd

Hi all, I have a strange problem : when I reboot - my bios forgets what multiplier I have set and puts it to 8x, now I have an Athlon64X2 (4800) which by default is 200MHz x 12. Strange. All the other settings like custom voltages on my memory and even the bus speeds are saved but it keeps reverting to 250 x 8 instead of the 250 x 12 that I had before - its not like 3GHz is unstable - far from it.... just weird.... any ideas????

4GB OCZ 800MHz
Athlon 64x2 4800 (OC'D TO 3.00GHz)
Nvidia 4870 (although was doing this yeasterday as well before I had this card)

ooh theres an update to the bios, maybe is corrupt or something, soon find out I suppose....

Try a reflash to an older version of the BIOS?

Think it was nvidia dynamic bios access proggy that was screwing things up - uninstalled it and all is well...
