Bios beep - one long two short? GFX?

Just cleaned dust out my pc, put it together, BIOS beeps. One long followed by two short. Tried everything, still same.

Manual doesnt say, so is it gfx? Can't test in a mates pc till tomorrow, havent tried it in bottom sli slot yet.

Haven't borked my card during cleaning have I? It was just sat on a table :x

Edit was two not three beeps. Still google says gfx. :/

1 long, 2 short beeps Display adapter problem (MDA, CGA) 1 long, 3 short beeps Enhanced Graphics Adapter (EGA)

whats the diff?


Using bottom pci-e slot gives no diff

It can be a mis-configuration in the bios, check your settings to be sure, perhaps the battery came loose when you cleaned it out and reset something, maybe not, but no harm looking.

I couldnt get into the bios. Gfx wasnt outputting.
Anyway got the problem, mobo wont take 4 sticks of ram, will only now do one stick in slot 3. I can't understand it, but going from 2gig to 512ram is a bit painfull atm.

Its not a ram error, all sticks work fine individually. Just not in anyother slot either. Cant update bios, asus site down for maintenance, lol.
