BIOS - Boot sequence resetting.

I am trying to do a clean install of windows 8.1. However, I am trying to change my boot sequence in BIOS for the disk drive as priority to initiate the clean install, however every time I change this boot sequence and save & exit, it resets and 'Windows Boot Manager' goes back to 1 and boots normally.

How do I go about this?

what motherboard do you have?

there maybe a key you can press on boot up to pick what to boot from, DEL for BIOS and F2 for boot sequence (that's my mobo)
