I use GeIL Value memory and am aware that the stock spec is 2.5-3-3-6. Question is, do you have to manually set this up in the BIOS, or if it's set to AUTO will the board automatically revert to the fastest possible timings?

Is there any way of checking the memory speeds in Windows?

There is usually an auto setting in the BIOS. It will read the info from the SPD chip on the RAM and set it to the right timings.

Can check it in Windows using CPU-Z, gives lots of info about CPU speed, FSB, voltages, RAM timings and speed... hope that helps:)
