BIOS fan settings

Was set to "Always On" but has "SMART" as an option.

Which one should it be on, and what is the difference??

SMART should control as per the temp. Any other options?

Nope. Always on, or SMART.

So you're saying, as the CPU temp rises, the fan automatically speeds up? Is there not a danger that the temp sensor malfunctions and I'm running a CPU with little or no fan for a while? Sounds risky.
