My mate has a computer which needs a bio update, it has no OS and no floppy drive!!

Can he flash it from CD and if so how?

He can flash yes, but he ***WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BACKUP HIS ORIGINAL***

He will have to aquire a floppy DOS boot disk image file, and then burn that as a bootable CD (from nero is what I use), this will burn a disk that emulates a 1.44MB A:\ floppy (so will boot to a:\), he may also need a disk image editor (iso buster is good) to add the bios flashing utils and BIN to the a:\ image.

Is it possible to flash with a usb memory stick? Always wondered this as I've got no floppy drive in my machine and it would make it easier:)
