Hey guys

I've always liked to keep upto date with everything when it comes to my PC, I'm always checking for new drivers regularly and new updates for my games/applications. One thing I just havent ever bothered doing though is flashing my bios to keep upto date

Now with my old DFI board, it was a little different as it needed to be done properly with a floppy disk which I didnt really like as I wasnt really sure on how to do it

But with my new board, it has EZFlash which makes bios flashing really simple, I can even do it from my USB stick which suits me fine.

Now theres 3 BIOS releases since the version that my board came with, is it worth updating to the newest one? Or does it really have no benefit?

I used to get told that when it comes to bios flashing, never to bother unless you really need to, the old "if it aint broke..." saying.

But since then motherboards like mine, and many others are aimed at enthusiasts with so many features on board, was just wondering if its worth keeping up to date?

Your opinions please, as they are always appreciated

Typically I update the BIOS on a new board when I first set up the machine then don't touch it unless I'm either having a problem or I want extra functionality provided by a later BIOS.
