I'm trying to overclock on a ASRock ConRoeXFire-eSATA2 and examing the BIOS I'm not entirely sure about some of the settings, so I was hoping someone could tell me what I should be choosing for each. In particular (and as labeled in the BIOS) they are:
Boot Failure Guard
Spread Spectrum
Max CPUID Value Limit
CPU Thermal Throttling
Intel Speedstep Tech
DRAM Frequency
Also, more generally, is it worth overclocking in the BIOS or with this board am I better off using tools within the OS? I'm no expert but the BIOS does seem to be missing several controls I was expecting to find (For example there doesn't appear to be the option to change Vcore)
