Just built the wife her new rig , alls well and runs flawlessly so shes happy.
Seemingly the gigabyte board has a paddy letting me into bios , upon mashing delete on boot the post screen corrupts and the screen goes blank. I cannot select an XMP or overclock . Unsure wether this is a GPU issue , MObo issue or a bit of both. I'm on the latest bios revision

Pentium anniversary
Corsair cx600
OCz arc 100 120gb
Gigabhte z97m - ds3h
2 x 4 GB patriot 2400mhz
R9 270x xfx

try booting using igpu/built in graphics, remove the 270 gpu and bootup pc

then update the bios, download latest version for your board/extract it to usb stick and flash bios through qflash

then put back the 270 and boot pc again
