I'm trying to make an android app but i can't run the emulator due to VT-x not being on.

Does anyone know where it would be in the BIOS? I can see from one screen that is supported on my CPU. I have found a VT-d but not VT-x :(

Asus z97 Pro Gamer motherboard.

Anyone have any clue?

Its probily in the bios under the heading Virtual Machines, should have an enable/disable option

The option is not listed in your motherboard manual (VT-d is), and Intel's page at http://ark.intel.com/products/80811/Intel-Core-i5-4690K-Processor-6M-Cache-up-to-3_90-GHz does state:

This feature may not be available on all computing systems. Please check with the system vendor to determine if your system delivers this feature, or reference the system specifications (motherboard, processor, chipset, power supply, HDD, graphics controller, memory, BIOS, drivers, virtual machine monitor-VMM, platform software, and/or operating system) for feature compatibility. Functionality, performance, and other benefits of this feature may vary depending on system configuration.

To me it looks like your board/bios doesn't offer the option.
