BIOS issue after OC failure.

Morning chaps

I have an ASUS Crosshair IV and an AMD 965 x 4.

I had the chip OC'd to 4Ghz, but last week it failed on boot as the BIOS froze. I rebooted and I booted up fine. The mobo reset my chip to standard and just stated that the OC had failed.

Now before this happened, the BIOS would list all my HD's. When I boot up now it states 'No hard drives found'.

All the drives are working fine once I get into Win7, but I am just wondering if this should concern me?

I have left the chip at stock for the time being.

So I guess I should not be overly concerned then.

I guess you have a SSD and your bios automatically sets up ACHI?

SSD for boot and two mechanicals for apps / games.

Thought so. It is perfectly normal what you are seeing. Or rather not seeing
