updated my bios today F12 i think, but my overclock still doesnt save,my pc restarts 4times and then loads to vista, check CPU-z and im still at 2.4.

got an GA P35C-DS3R,q6600 @ 2.4 now.

trying to overclock using

333 x 9 = 3.0,havent altered the voltage because i dont know a lot about that stuff.

any ideas why it doesnt save ?

Just updated my bios on the same board and had your exact problem. What worked for me was to update the bios then instead of a restart i shut down and dissconected the power supply completely for a minuet or two.

Hope it works.

Make sure your voltages (CPU + Ram) are adequate for your o/c...(assuming you have carried out your BIOS flash correctly, ie. especially important is the "Loading optimized defaults" immediately after you reboot from flashing and entering BIOS).

Had a similiar problem with my P35 DS3P, and upping the ram voltage by +0.05v cured it...
