bios not showing clock speed

ive seen loads of bios SS which actually show you your cpu speed,cant understand why mine isnt showing,ive done CTRL + F1 to show more options but does'nt show speed.

Which motherboard? And have you actually seen BIOS shots of your motherboard showing the CPU speed?

Gigabyte P35C-DS3R,ive seen just p35(without c) showing clock speed,also seen ds4.

From a quick skim around the net I can't see the clockspeed in any pics of its BIOS.

Tho reviews are usually carried out on boards running an early BIOS version.

ive jsut dwnloaded F10 bios,do i extract it and then send it to USB flashdrive or just send it straight to my usb?

If it's a zipped file then extract it to the USB stick.

do i have to enable something in the bios to find my usb flash?

Nope. You may have to switch the machine off and back on again for it to see it. If Q-Flash from within the BIOS can't see it then try pressing the key combination for Q-Flash that's listed on the POST screen.

tried both of them and the BIOS still isnt finding my flash drive.only gives me the option to use floppy and i havent got a floppy on this machine.

The floppy is the flash drive it just shows it as a floppy well on mine anyways, also f10 was abit flaky f11 is the latest none beta bios if your on v1.0 board
