i've used this option for ages now, as i like to get in, hit my keyboard anywhere, and have my machine turn on (as i'm too lazy to reach down to the tiny power button :P).

this has always worked on my old shuttle, an a7n8x-x, and dfi LP NF3 250.

nowadays, i use a DFI NF4 ultra-D, and the option is available in bios, and yet my system will not boot from my ps2 keyboard :/

anyone have an idea as to how to get past this?

PS
I have tried a couple o' bioses so far, and atm i'm using the 704-2bt from the dfi-street forums, if that info is any help :)

Thanks for the reply, and yes.. I should read the manual sometime when building a rig, but as I said, I'm lazy ;p

Still, rtfm? It's been a while since anyone was arsey enough to say that in the forums I read.

To be honest, I've just dug out my old Terratec EWS 64XL sound card and that has RTFM printed on the circuit board. Just had to use it again. Always sound advice I find. :)
