hi my computer is over clocked if i update my bios will that take the over overclock of it

I'd say almost certainly yes.
This is assuming the overclock is done in the BIOS and not in Windows using software from the manufacturer.

Hi, far better read the instructions in your mobo manual. If l update my Bios l have to load Optimized settings first then do the update them reload optimized settings again. Before l can proceed to overclock.
