BIOS/POST problem

Just finished building my new rigbut having a few probs with starting the bloody thing

1) no visuals on the monitor

2) getting BIOS/POST beeps when i turn the pc on - its a long beep then rest for a few seconds then another long beep then rest again and so on...

motherboard - evga nforce 680
cpu - QX6700
ram - corsair dominator pc6400 2x 1gb sticks

oh also, on the motherboard theres a display, i get the error code 1C i think...

not sure mate. error is C1 not 1C. and i think its memory.... evga support page says try only one stick which i just have but i still get the error

ok lads, working now, only using one stick though..... should i continue with one stick, get everything up then try the second in later?
