Hello all..
After digging out an old pc i had laying about i found that there was a bit of a problem..
the fist message is "cpu is damaged or unworkable" the bios for some reason thinks its a 500mhz (not 800) now resetting it to 800 (or makeing any bios change for that matter) stops any boot up, no error sounds just nothing..
Useing the jumpers to reset the bios/cmos? get it working again, but still no working..
(i'm thinking its the battery?)
Problem comes when trying to put an os on, it stalls when trying to work out how many cpus the pc has (as the bios is probably giveing it mixed info) so effectively i have a giant paper weight :/
Any ideas?
