Bios problem

Hi guys I recently flashed my bios from F7 to F10 using Q-Flash on Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3LR as I installed high end ram.

The ram worked perfectly fine and cpu-z and post screen shows the bios revision as F10 so it has been flashed sucessfully. However the problem now seems to be that I can't choose some of the options.

For instance while running memtest I couldn't choose configuration or even exit the program using ESC key. I had to press reset button on my case. Also I couldn't choose between starting windows normally or set up utility during windows 7 loading if I purposely pressed the reset button.
Edit: So if the 'starting windows normally' is already highlighted and I press enter, nothing happens and I have to wait till 30sec countdown
It seems for those kind of options when I try to choose them, Bios doesn't let me.

Any ideas:(.

I would suggest that you redo your flash. I think based on what you have described you might have either a bad flash (not terminal) or a OS that is messed up.

The issues you describe are all located with the type of keyboard you are using. Have you changed from a PS/2 or USB keyboard lately?

So I can flash from F10 to F10 again? Also what do you mean by 'terminal'? I am using Saitek Eclipse 1 keyboard which is USB keyboard.
 
Ok reflashed from F10 to F10 and cleared the CMOS but still the same problem:(.

I can change settings within bios such changing FSB, multi, voltages, EIST, C1E etc and move about different bios programs such motherboard intelligent tweaker, standard cmos features, advanced cmos features, power management setup etc. So that is no problem.

It's only when running external program in the bios such as memtest or during windows 7 bootup when it hasn't loaded properly or I pressed reset purposely while windows7 was loading and thus the options presented afterwards; that I can't select the options.

In the mobo manual about dual bios it says and I quote;
"Motherboards that support Dual Bios have two Bios onboard, a main Bios and a backup Bios. Normally the system works on the main Bios.
However if the main Bios is corrupted or damaged, the backup Bios will take over on the next system boot and copy the Bios file to the main Bios to ensure normal system operation. For the sake of system safety, users can't update the backup Bios manually."


So as I am seeing F10 in cpuz and post screen, that means it has flashed successfully otherwise I would have experienced the case above. Could it be that the F10 bios revision has some minor faults in itself?

Should I update to the latest F11 and see if that makes any difference?

Updated to latest F11 bios revision and still experiencing same problem:(.

Do you think it could be Windows7. Is there any way of improving the OS without deleting my stuff on the C drive?

Also how is Gigabyte with customer support service?:(
 
Basically It is my first build which I did last April 2010. When I built the PC I just plugged straight in the Saitek Eclipse 1 keyboard and Razer Diamondback blue led mouse which is also USB mouse.

I haven't used any mouse or keyboard other than those mentioned above. It has been several months now since I did clean install as I upgraded to win 64bit from 32bit.

I occasionaly install and play games though I regularly play cs source. My daily PC usage is about 8 hours.

Edit: Is it possible to downgrade to lower Bios revision and would this have any effect?
