I have a Z97X-Gaming 7 Gigabyte motherboard with bios version F6 30/05/2014.
I have aWD blue SN500 NVMe drive that I cannot see in the bios.
I have looked on line for help but nothing seems to work for me.
The Bios will not display the drive, but I can install windows 10 from both a DVD and USB drive, but when the PC reboots it just tries to install Windows 10 again. If I take the installation DVD out the machine fails to boot.
The drive can be seen in Windows when I boot from my old SSD.

I have tried booting with UEFI on and off for CSM access with no joy. I have booted with all other drives disconnected and no joy.
I have tried the drive in another pc ASUS motherboard and it worked first time.

Any help appreciated.
Thank you

I had previously tried this in windows as many years ago I was able to update via windows, but had an error when I tried this time. I tried again via the BIOS directly and successfully updated the bios. This instantly rectified the problem and now I am up and running thank you.
Thank you for your help.

Most likely just needed the boot order changing to the NVMe drive from what you posted, though a BIOS update is also a good idea.
