Bios softmod for G80 8800GTS

Anyone modified a bios for a G80 8800GTS and managed to get decent gains from 1.4v?

I have modified the bios but not yet installed it. Dont know if it will even work.

Currently get 680/1600/1000 (core/stream/mem) and hoping to go further.

It wont change voltage on the 8000's and the majority of the 7000's.

Did on my 7800GT no problem. Had it running at 520mhz in the end from it's stock 400mhz.

Thats why I said MAJORITY, as it depended on the Vendors PCB, but all 8000's are made by a Contractor for Nvidia and does not help the OP does it.

Only 8800 series card that you can softmod the vcore that I know of is the 8800GT and even thats vendor specific and you can only increase it by +0.05v.

You can only change the voltage through bios to a certain amount, at least its the case with my GT, I soft modded it, think it went from 1.05V to 1.1V and I got an extra 20Mhz.
