Problem just recently started, past week or so. 3 times, the BIOS output goes fine until the point where it detects the HDs, and doesn't. I then have to press the reset button and the next time it boots fine.
The stage previous (which is the last thing it outputs) is showing the CPU clock frequency. Not had any crashes in Windows so I'm guessing not a significant hardware fault?
Hasn't happened every morning from a cold boot, just those few times. So I can't repeat it. Any suggestions? Could it be the battery?
Motherboard is a Gigabyte K8N-XP-SLI, CPU is a X2 4400+.
