following on from my previous thread its looking more and more like the bios is set to read from onboard graphics thus when i boot the pc it doesnt give me a display and says no signal.

the problem i have is my motherboard has on board graphics but i have the 760 chip with no graphics controller and im usng a graphics card, so if i am right on this how would i go about solving it?

a strange point to add is that iv seen the bios probably 6 times out of approx the 100 times i switched the thing on today but after the bios it just goes blank, yet the pc is still on?

i was lucky enough to install win7 64bit from one of the times it gave me a picture, just cant get back on :(

thanks in advance

I don't know your BIOS but there should be an option letting you set priority for gfx

Set igfx (or similar name) to 2nd and should work!

i cant get onto the bios, i have no display, i put some headphones in and let it boot to see if it was actually booting but just no display and i didnt hear the usual windows sounds so im not sure whats going on now.

If its not giving anything then are you sure its connected to the onboard port, not the graphics card?

Sounds silly i know
