My PC used to boot from power on in 28 seconds. Now it takes nearly 20 seconds to boot through the bios. Anyone know why this is happening, also how to fix it? Specs in sig, and build is only a month old.

Cheers.

that annoyed me too when I had my SSD. it would take an age with the splash screen, then detecting drives etc, but once the windows logo appeared it flew through. I think it depends what setting you have in the bios at to which parts it needs to check/look for

It only started when I started overclocking it. It brings up the screen saying asus and then 'press delete for bios' etc and then another screen appears, completely blank with a flashing white dash in the top left. Followed by a few screens flashing to fast to read what they say. Then I get another blank screen for about 4-5 seconds and then the white flashing dash again. Also once the 'starting windows' finishes I then get another blank screen for about 5-10 seconds.
