Bios update and saved oc profile.

Updated the bios on my board today to the latest 1402 revision, (had been using the original shipping bios, ver 0714). Prior to doing so i saved my overclock profile to a usb flash drive. I take it it should be fine to just use this profile again on the updated bios?

AFAIK - no, you wont be able to use your saved settings in the new bios. Normally you have to re do the settings yourself.Sometimes when you upgrade a bios it is likely that you would have to make changes to your settings because the new bios will work a bit differently from the old one. I expect when you try to use your saved settings it will not allow it.

Ill try loading it up and see how it go's, if not it shouldnt need too much tweaking. Only settings changed were vcore, input voltage, sa and ioa/d. Ram will be set on xmp.

Cheers guys, went ahead and entered my settings manually. Found an old notebook that i had them wrote down in. All seems ok so far.
