just wondering the bios i am running is F3 ...the latest is F7 can update straight to F7 or do i have to use the F4 F5 F6 in order first thanks.

is this a bad way....

It's not ideal as windows is by far the most unstable environment to update the BIOS (if you can avoid this method i would).

Windows is far more likely to crash than a simple DOS environment - or use the EZ-Flash utility.

ok ill go for that ....its best to have the latest bios updates isnt it?

Yes and no.

If your BIOS is a lot of revisions out of date then i would update it.

However, if it's less than a couple of revisions out, and your sytem is running fine and you don't have any niggles then i wouldn't bother (llok at the inof by

I personally update my BIOS with every new release because like to experiment - but i sometimes find myself reverting back to an older one as the new one isn't as forgiving/stable.
