Hi i am trying to update a Leadtek 6800 as more of a technical exercise than anything else just to see how it's done. Now the card in question is producing some funny coloured squares on most screens so i know it's not working properly so i won't care if i totally screw it up.
I have downloaded several nvflash tools and a couple of different 128mb agp bios's but every time i try to update it i get the same error messege:
I/O ERROR: Cannot open file: xxxx.rom
I also get a similar messege when using Leadtek's own flashing utility.
Now i know the floppy drive and disc's i am using are fine because i updated the bios on the mobo i'm using earlier today, so has anyone got any ideas as to where the problem lies.
Any help would be grately appreciated cheers.
