Hello, ive had problems overclocking my amd athlon 3800+ am2. Ive tried overvolting. Today i updated my bio's can this help in overclocking or is it just luck in the overclock?

Some new BIOSes can improve overclocking results, others are simply bugfixes. It usually doesn't hurt to have the newest one installed.

ok, thanks. Before i overclocked it and it used to crash upon start up and when windows finishes loading, but not it seems quiet stable. No crashes up to now.
