ATI are telling me to update my BIOS to try and stop the bluescreens from my 4850. So, I downloaded the most recent one from the website, stuck it onto a USB flash drive and rebooted into the bios where they have their ez flash utility thing, where it told me it would not work with NTFS.
I think I was being fairly silly here, but I quickly gave up since my hard drives are all NTFS, though I'm fairly sure they mean that the flash drive can't be formatted in NTFS.

Can someone just confirm that I'm being a numpty before I do this. Thanks ^^

Hmm, it was in FAT. Formatted, just in case.

Is it just a matter of sticking the .ROM file onto the flash and selecting the option in the BIOS?
Asus P5B by the way, as I didn't mention it.

Sorry for all the questions, but its one of those things I don't want to take any chances on :3

Thanks, it seems to have gone through fine.
Though I rather stupidly forgot that it wouldn't retain my overclock. A new BIOs update won't make it any worse at OCing, will it?

It reset itself automatically without asking me. Though that makes sense, seeing as everything you had saved was on the old bios, which you just deleted.
